The first gift is light. "Let there be light". Let the light bring comfort and ease in the living and dying process, allowing the light to lift any fear and dispel darkness, confusion and fear.

Meditation comes in many forms. The suitability of any given form is dependent on the individual. Breath meditation, visualization, mantra are all tools that can be used to bring you to the center, open and allow the light to circulate.

End-of-life Doulas (EOLDs) are caregivers who offer non-medical, holistic support and comfort to dying people and their families. Services are varied to meet individual needs and requirements, and may include education and guidance, as well as emotional, spiritual or practical care.

We stay with dying person for the days, weeks, months leading up to death, often offering support to the family as well. The prospect of death can be frightening and confusing; these burdens are shared. Support and understanding are shared.
